Found this park when looking for a new place for my son. It has a playground and a basketball area. It is a very spacious playground. It's clean and well-maintained and all kinds of folks hang out there.

Nice park. Has lots of grass to run around, skate board area, basketball court, playground and summer time water park area. Son always makes a new friend there. I've even attended a couple small summer music concerts. Everything is always free and open to public

Favorite East Side park: summer splash pad and a nice playground with several basketball courts, reasonably large field and the bridge over Cypress. Very safe and clean.

The neighborhood can get pretty violent but it's not an everyday occurrence so it's not too bad. It is a nice park, during the summer the water park opens so it's fun for the kids.

Today we had my Sons birthday party and it went amazing! We were able to show up early and they had the room decorated. This is a great plaice where you want a fun party with minimal set up from you. Stephanie did a great job confirming our date and answering my questions. Sophia our host was great keeping us on time, checking with the guests as they arrived and cleaning up after us. The pizza they order from was also fantastic. We will definitely be back.

My kids and I recently visited Go Play, a massive indoor playground designed for kids and toddlers, and we had a fantastic time! This was our first visit, and from the moment we walked in, we were impressed. One unique feature that sets Go Play apart is that they allow parents to join in the fun and play alongside their children. This is something we haven't experienced at other playgrounds and it truly enhances the family bonding experience. I felt welcomed and excited to participate in all the activities with my little ones. Upon arrival, we were asked to fill out a waiver, which was a smooth and straightforward process. It’s a smart approach to ensure everyone's safety and accountability. The playground itself is a wonderland for children, filled with slides, mazes, soft play areas, and various fun activities. The facility is clean and well-maintained, which is always a priority for us. Despite the crowd, likely due to the rainy weather outside, the staff managed everything efficiently and the place never felt overwhelming. The pricing is reasonable, making it an affordable option for families looking to spend quality time together. We found the value to be excellent given the variety of play structures and the overall positive experience. While it was a bit crowded during our visit, it didn't detract from the fun we had. The kids were thrilled and we all left with smiles on our faces. In summary, Go Play is a fantastic indoor playground that offers a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children and parents alike. We will definitely be returning if we ever come back to the atea and highly recommend it to other families looking for a fun day out.

Very upsetting experience. I usually never post a bad review, but I felt this was necessary for safety purposes. The side /back door wasn’t locked and an alarm didn’t sound when my son tried going out into the parking lot . Very scary experience, if the front is monitored so should the back be . Even though there is a sign on the door saying the alarm will sound, it didn’t . The staff were not apologetic about it or anything. Our first time here , and last . GoPlay please do better . If I could give zero stars to leave a review I would . Edit: No the alarm did not sound , The staff had to hold the door down until they got the alarm to start working apparently. All the parents were shocked that the door was able to open without an alarm not just me, and I was supervising my child which is why I was able to grab him before completely escaping. The point is , the alarm didn’t sound the staff were rude , not apologetic or sincere. They had to hold the door down (which is essentially locking it) . Iam very considerate when leaving a review for a small business (I have worked at an indoor play place that was a small businesses owner) however, this needed to be addressed and handled properly and it just wasn’t .

Brought my kids here for the first time and honestly loved it! There’s a bunch of tables adults can sit on while they go play or you can even join them in the jungle gym because it’s big enough. I went during the week one afternoon so not too busy. I def will be going during a workday soon! Very clean, friendly staff, great snacks and also good pizza spots not far away like Socrates 100% recommended. The best thing is that you can bring in your own food and drinks.

Ive been here twice with a 3 year old and i plan to come all winter. For less than 20 dollars, my child never runs out of places to explore inside. There are areas where she is in her comfort zone that are perfect for her age and other areas for older kids that she can go over and challenge herself on. The best part is that no one cares that we bring our own juices and water bottles and a bag of snacks from home. Its hard to get physical activity once it gets colder outside and this is a great way to get some playground energy out this winter. Even with the place booked to capacity, we still found a table to leave our snacks at and to rest at when needed.

Really nice playground, separate areas for big kids and little kids. Picnic tables, and it's all fenced in and very clean. The only reason I docked it 2 starts is because there's absolutely no shade, no trees, nothing. So it's nice to play, but absolutely terrible when the clouds part for more than a few minutes. Wouldn't recommend on an entirely sunny day, we came when it was partly cloudy and it was mostly enjoyable!

Wilson Park now has competition for best park in Rhode Island. I have had Wilson Park as the best Park in Rhode Island, but Jamestown Community Playground is hands down the best Playground in Rhode Island. See the photos. It has everything you can dream of. The slides are high and fun and not low and lame. It is built like a Lighthouse. It has ziplines, ropes to climb, the rope pyramid, and everything possible. So much fun. I had to get up there. Love this place. Wonderful Job Jamestown!! It even house a bathroom area in the shade (portajon), and garbages and most importantly recycling bins. So it is clean !!

Our first visit to Jamestown Community Playground was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. The park is exceptionally clean and boasts a variety of equipment suitable for children of all ages, making it a perfect spot for family fun. One highlight of our visit was the zip line, which our daughter absolutely loved. She couldn't get enough of it and kept going back for more! The playground also features plenty of other engaging play structures that kept our kids entertained for hours. We appreciated the picnic tables available, which made it easy for us to enjoy a leisurely lunch in the park. The combination of well-maintained facilities and thoughtful amenities made our visit both comfortable and enjoyable. If we were locals, Jamestown Community Playground would undoubtedly be our go-to park. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, fun, and family-friendly environment. We can't wait to visit again!

Playground is fenced in and nestled in a quiet residential area. Very big with lots of different things for the kids to climb on and play in. They also have quite a few ride on toys for the kids as well! When I went (early June on a Monday afternoon) it was very clean and appeared as though new mulch had just been laid down. The play area is surrounded by a cement "walkway" for the kids to ride on in the small cars and other ride on toys. Lots of places for adults to sit and relax, and lots of SHADE too! 😎 There is also a couple of picnic tables if you would like to bring a lunch and feed the kiddos! This place is truly a hidden gem. You and your kids will enjoy it!

I took my grandson here when he was visiting because I didn't want to drive 40 minutes each way to the playground he wanted to go to. He loved it! He said there was so much to do and he loved the 2 different monkey bars. There is a great playground and lots of grass. I also played ball with my dog and we met other dogs. It's a nice park. Went on 08/18/24 and there's a misting pad now!

2023 [UPDATED GENERAL PARK REVIEW] -Great park for picnics. -LOTS OF benches and shade/trees -Playground in center of park is not fenced in but is accessible by wheelchair! -Some of the sidewalks/ paths around park need some maintenance otherwise would be great for kids to bike, and more wheelchair accessible. -Plenty of trash cans -Hummingbird Garden with trumpet honeysuckle! -Well maintained fountain -Well maintained grass. -Playground is most suitable for school age children [ages 4-11] -Tall slides and climbing structures suitable for older kids. -Swings -Interactive play areas for younger kids -Little free library box for book trade (was empty this visit but it is usually full of books most of the times I have visited) -Bulletin board for local information sharing -Often a lemonade truck nearby -Three Sisters [Ice Cream shop] across the street is one of the best in the state- home made ice cream flavors. Definitely bring some cash for a treat! ♡ 2022; I saw 2 eagles flying above park. This made it a 10/10 experience for me. Yes they were real eagles. JUVENILE bald eagles (no white feathers yet) Flew right over park then disappeared over trees towards water / river / bay area. ♡ keep in mind that these are birds of prey and keep your small dogs leashed.

It is a beautiful park with a large playground. It also has a working water fountain. It is located near Blackstone Boulevard. If you are there, take a walk with the kids to the hidden tree and the cottage. Get a take out lunch from India ( a great restaurant near there) and use the picnic tables provided. Or some ice cream from the three sisters Cafe. 😋

What a lovely spot for family and friends to visit! The fountain was just starting up for the season when we were there. There was also the evidence of some creative chalk drawings on the sidewalks to spark one's imagination. On Saturday the Farmers Market takes center stage. A great neighborhood gathering place!

I want to love it, but bathrooms are running all experience. First of all bathrooms are available ONLY until 2:30pm. I am sorry, but what do you do after?! Well, if you lucky to be there before 2:30 and need a changing station- set up if terrible. 2 out of 3 stalls are working, but once you drop down changing station you block access for everyone to use bathroom. I had to squeeze stroller under the table to at least leave some space for other people. Same with sinks, you simply block them from using for other people, if changing table is down. You are NOT allowed to throw diper in the bathroom trash can, you have to take it to the OUTSIDE trash can. That's so weird. It is dirty, too (doors, all around handles stained).

Awesome place to come for a picnic. Lots to do here for multiple ages. Mini golf available. Restrooms, friendly staff and can even rent out for parties inside and/ or outside picnic areas. GrandKids had a blast here. Got there at opening time. Filled up just before lunch, but did not seemed over crowded. All fenced in, lots of items to test and play with if you are considering purchasing toy cars etc.

What a fantastic park! I'm from Taunton MA, but attended a family birthday party here and it was a phenomenal place. The kids had so much fun, everything was very clean and well kept. They have a party hall that can be rented and used for various functions. It was definitely worth the drive and my son had a blast at the playground. A very spacious area with all different slides and toys, along with other playground equipment to entertain kids of all ages. Very different from any other place we've gone. Keep up the great work 😁

Had a Bluey themed birthday party for my 1 year old. From booking until the end of the party Stephanie was such a great host. Answered all my questions promptly and gave us tips and food recommendations! Our child and guests had such a wonderful time. The decorations were great and the surprise visit from Bluey was a hit! Would recommend to anyone planning a party and want to actually enjoy your time with your child instead of the stress of planning and hosting!

The best place to have a birthday for a 4 year old! The kids had a blast! Staff was so helpful! The owner was so accommodating last minute. I was to have a bounce house but it was going to rain so I called within days of the event and Danielle was able to squeeze us in and make some cute invitations for us!! When we arrived I had help setting up and cleaning up. But the place is so cute! I had never been before but my son and his friends were having so much fun! The sand boxes both kinetic and play sand were a hit. And the ball pit too! The place is clean and organized and sooo much to play with! This is a great place if you have children ages 1-6 ! I highly recommend for just playing and parties! Thank you again ! We will be back to be members to join the fun through all seasons

Play town In RI, everything is close by. Coming from East Providence, Bristol feels far, but one day we ended up in the area by accident and someone recommended we visit Play Town, Children’s Activity Center. I don’t frequent play spaces in my area thinking my kids have toys at home, but Play Town doesn’t offer toys, they offer experiences - sensory experiences! My kids favorite spot is the sand box. Then the farm table and the ball pit with mini trampoline. But that’s not all, they have a playground station, coloring station, kitchen area, race track and cars, building station PLUS an area where adults and kids can snack. I’m not a coffee lover, but there’s even a machine and coffee cups available FOR FREE. Wow! Additionally, there’s access to a bathroom and a baby station where you can nurse comfortably in a rocking chair and change baby’s diaper (they even offer supplies - AGAIN, FOR FREE!). There’s usually always parking on the street and a public parking lot nearby, as well. No excuse, head over to Play Town for a day of fun close or far from home!

This playground has been updated so I thought I’d share since the pictures are old. This is a great playground for babies to 10 or so. But definitely a toddler playground. It’s gated, there’s a sand pit with toys, rocks to climb, picnic tables, small area to run for small feet, several swings, we saw several kids while we were visiting. Older kiddos can explore with the climbing structures.

I'm not from Providence so I rate things here based as an out-of-towner. I have a toddler and while in town the family wanted to explore local playgrounds in the nice area around Brown University. Brassil Park is a cute neighborhood playground but certainly not a destination playground like Lippitts Memorial Park or Dexter Field. It needs some landscape pretty badly and the ginkgo trees in the fall smell to high heaven. The stink from these trees' fruit stayed in my nostrils for quite a while after leaving.

We hosted our daughter’s second birthday party at Play Time RI and it was excellent. It was smooth sailing from the start with easy communication with Suzy as we planned everything over email. Once we arrived, the decorations were so cute and perfectly set up. The pizza and cake pops for the kids were delicious and Suzy was very accommodating in letting us bring additional foods for the adults. All the kids (and adults) had the best time, and Theresa was really helpful throughout the party with set up and clean up. The space is great and clean with a variety of toys and play areas. Highly recommend!!

We had our son’s first birthday here and everyone had so much fun! The play area is very clean and has so many activities for the kids. We did the most expensive package and Suzy worked with us to personalize the package to our needs. We were able to provide our own food which was ideal for us when feeding little ones. :) I would absolutely recommend this place for a birthday party. All the decorations were handled by play time and we were so happy with it!

I had my son’s first birthday at Play Time RI. The owner, Suzy, was fantastic and the space was perfect. She was very responsive and did an amazing job with the decorations and keeping the place tidy. We brought our own cake and some food platters, and Suzy ordered pizzas and the cake pops. We had several people with food restrictions and greatly appreciated her accommodating for everyone. My son had a great time and there were so many toys for kids of a variety of ages. It was very hard to get a lot of the guests to sit for lunch and cake, because the selection of toys and activities is so engaging! They have A LOT! The decorations, tea and coffee bar, and customer service were also amazing. Suzy, the owner, is so accommodating. We’ll definitely be back soon for free play, especially during the colder months!
