Tried this place out this morning for my 2 little ones and they love it! The playground is big enough for my 8 year old and my 2 year old. They also have a comfy lounge area for the adults with live security footage to see what your kids are doing! My absolute favorite part is that they don't let your kids walk out of the door. We tried another place last weekend and they had ZERO security. (They also have free coffee) Will definitely be coming again.👍🏻

Here are the things you need to know! 1.) My kids love coming here because staff is great and the playground has plenty to keep them entertained 2.) The rules are reasonable (no matter what people say); they don’t allow outside food or drink (other than water and baby food) because it helps keep the business running. It is still a business 3.) The events held by the facility are well planned and thought out. They have activities for all ages 4.) This is by far the cleanest playground we’ve ever been too, that’s because they care about the business 5.) Lastly you need to have a 5 min conversation with the owner to understand she cares (a lot) not just about the business, but also her staff and the kids. She started this business for the kids and it shows….. We have bought multiple memberships because of all these things. Hope this helps all of those families out there

If your kids have dietary restrictions of any kind (one of my kids is Autistic and literally only eats four things) Breakaway will NOT accommodate your child. I asked if we could bring in food ONLY for my son and the rest of us would buy from Breakaway's snack selection, front desk said no. I asked if I could take JUST my son out to the car if he gets hungry then come back in, and was told there would be a reentry fee. The front desk person was polite but completely unhelpful. I understand this review isn't applicable for everyone, but for our family it's a +30 minute drive to come here and a $26 entry fee, so between that and the gas it's a bit of a deal breaker. (They DO have healthy snacks options, he just won't eat their options/brands 😭)

Was not crowdy at all. Our tour lasted very short but this place was one worth visiting. It’s a mini fun land. Great architecture with amazing view of gardenscapes. Connects through many adventurous trails and the river by a bridge. Needs a little more development regarding water game. Apart from that I loved this place as it’s a place for everyone kids, adults and elders. Lovely place for picnic and family time. 🍀☺️😇

This is the BEST FREE public park ever! Clean facility, not crowded (we came on Thursday 10/10/24), family friendly activities, sweet staff! We came all the way from Houston, TX to explore this park without having any expectations. Our kids loved this! I'm 36 and I enjoyed playing at this park! Wished Houston could have a park like this. This is a MUST VISIT for anyone who's coming to Tulsa!

The Gathering Place is a public park in Tulsa, located along the Arkansas River. Entrance to the park is free with indoor and outdoor casual dining available. The food venues were closed when we visited. We arrived on a steamy August evening just before sundown. We had limited time so I assume we missed much of the park's features. We also did not know about the park. We visited the Golden Driller statute where a friendly Tulsa resident told us about the park. I highly recommend the park for adults and families, with or without children. It is a must-see destination.

I really love this place. They've done so many renovations to it and it's a big place, great for families to visit. The trails within the park connect to the larger trail system along the Arkansas river, and to the new pedestrian bridge which is a highly accessible way to cross the river. This bridge connects to more trails on the west end of the Arkansas River.

On Wednesdays, I believe, they allow you to bring your dog(s). Also they have a user friendly app that can be accessed in the App Store.

We took the grands today and it was great! They are 3 & 6 and it was a perfect spot. Very clean, didn’t smell like a bunch of sweaty kiddos and price was great for hours of fun! (running out energy 😉) There was a small selection of snacks and drinks - don’t be afraid to purchase bc the prices were very reasonable! I would say a bit more parent setting may be needed but otherwise, great!

The kids loved this park! The splash pad was huge and kids and parents had plenty of space. There were two food trucks. We got snow cones from one and he was very friendly. There is also a Pavillion with misters that helped if you didn't want to get soaked but needed to cool off. The park was also unique and the kids loved exploring everything. The only down side was that the park didn't have very much shade so try to pick a cloudy day if possible. Best part is that there is a parking lot right across the street. $2/ hour for parking.

Went to the Pavillion to see an art walk for Nature Field Creative Academy. It was a little windy and the art had trouble staying in place. It was an amazing display of art by pre-k through 3rd grade. They were all excited to show off their treasured works of art.

If you're searching for a fantastic park with a variety of recreational activities, I highly recommend Lake Stanley Draper Playground. This park has something for everyone, from fishing to playing and hiking. The lake view is absolutely stunning, and it makes for a peaceful and relaxing backdrop to your day. The park has plenty of parking space, and the facilities are well-maintained and clean. The hiking trails are well-marked and offer stunning views of the surrounding nature. Whether you're looking for a fun family outing or a peaceful solo getaway, this park is the perfect destination. Overall, a fantastic park that I highly recommend to anyone in the area

Summer 2022- Following the theme in the county's south central and southwest drought, Oklahoma lakes are suffering from another low rain fall year. Stanley Draper is not spared either. Most boat ramps around this lake have been closed due to the low water line. Let's hope relief comes soon. I don't feel like walking halfway across the lake bottom to do some fishing.

What a huge disappointment this playground is. It looks amazing from afar and the equipment is nice. The view of the lake is amazing, but y'all! I literally cannot put into words how many ants are at this place. You can't stand still for three minutes without them crawling up your kids legs. Literally, everywhere. I have never in my life seen this many ants in one place. The slides are also crawling with mosquitos. We sprayed before getting onto the playground and I was so grateful we did. We will absolutely not be going back here... Which is such a shame. But the bug situation literally renders this place unusable. Your kids will be covered in ant bites.

My kids loved it as well as their friends. Bathrooms were clean, they also had baby wipes in the 2 stalls plus the changing table. They also have a toddler play area. I didn't get to see their event rooms, but when I asked, I was told they only have 2, and their event package doesn't include food. But I would recommend!

They were not very patient with my autistic brother, he didn’t follow a rule and they kicked us out. They get easily annoyed by having to work at their job and if a kid doesn’t follow their rules but is safely playing they will kick you out. Unfortunately, I would not recommend.

Fun park! Lots of room to for playing. This place has been around forever, but the playground is still in great shape. I’m assuming at some point that they came in and gave it a facelift. Playground is surrounded by fields for throwing around a ball. There are restrooms and a little set up for working out/stretching. There are several picnic tables and charcoal grills. One family was grilling yesterday and it smelled amazing. Instant summertime. Lots of ducks and geese to see and feed, although I’d recommend you do your research on what to feed them first. Skip the bread. And…there’s a sk8 park! Perfect for my teenager! He likes one because he knows Tony Hawk stopped to skate here once. There are also great walking trails/sidewalks all around the lake here. We walked out around the pier and down to the shore. Thousands of seashells to look at. (Please LEAVE NO TRACE and just look, don’t take.) There we’re lots of tiny, flying gnats that were super annoying that would swarm right around our faces, but those were only a problem down by the water. What else? Oh, very dog-friendly. Pretty crowded yesterday, but it was nice weather, so not surprising. Overall, fun free outing for me, the kids and the dog!
