We absolutely loved this park! There were lots of friendly kids for my toddler to play with. It has beautiful views and ducks. It’s gorgeous at sunset. There are a lot of areas for the kids to play on that range from toddlers to older kids. There’s also a pretty big slide here. Our three year old loved it. I’ve never been to a playground/park with such pretty views.

Fun park! Lots of room to for playing. This place has been around forever, but the playground is still in great shape. I’m assuming at some point that they came in and gave it a facelift. Playground is surrounded by fields for throwing around a ball. There are restrooms and a little set up for working out/stretching. There are several picnic tables and charcoal grills. One family was grilling yesterday and it smelled amazing. Instant summertime. Lots of ducks and geese to see and feed, although I’d recommend you do your research on what to feed them first. Skip the bread. And…there’s a sk8 park! Perfect for my teenager! He likes one because he knows Tony Hawk stopped to skate here once. There are also great walking trails/sidewalks all around the lake here. We walked out around the pier and down to the shore. Thousands of seashells to look at. (Please LEAVE NO TRACE and just look, don’t take.) There we’re lots of tiny, flying gnats that were super annoying that would swarm right around our faces, but those were only a problem down by the water. What else? Oh, very dog-friendly. Pretty crowded yesterday, but it was nice weather, so not surprising. Overall, fun free outing for me, the kids and the dog!
