This is a very big beautiful park with many extras. This is a picture of water shoots up during the summer to the delight of the children wanting to cool down. The play ground has enough things to handle a lot of kids at one time. They have a baseball field to say Batters up. And all the trees are so very beautiful.

Great park. Parking was easy to find. This park has a dog park, even a place for shy dogs. It has a playground, walking trails, a pond and more. There is another park right across the street so you could easily go to both in a day.

Waking up early for the Spirit of Boise hot air balloon festival is worth it. The aeronauts we met wanted us to be close to see all the action. Huge park, lots of room for every type of sport. Not sure about bathrooms since the event had port-a-potties. Plenty of parking if you’re early.

Beautiful location all year round. But I must say fall is a must see. Playground for kids, places for picnics and sports. Close to the Boise greenbelt as it runs right through the park. Riverviews, bridges to walk between parks on each side of the river. A pond with ducks and a dog park. This is one of my favorite parks in Boise, Idaho.

The park is really nice, there's a big playground with toys for kids, a nice workout area. There's also a lot of trails that let's you feel like you're hiking in the hills, and you're not in a large metro area. The hill and stairs are pretty steep, just be aware if you're new to the park (like me) they'll get your heart pumping.

Amazing park for the whole family! Great location to the CDA resort, McEwen park, downtown shops and stores, and lake Coeur d'Alene and the lake beach. Fort Sherman has an amazing playground that both children and adults can enjoy together. Whether you want to ride your bike around the park and beach, walk your dog through the grass and large trees surrounding the lake, or playing tag in the wood built playground, you can certainly spend hours playing here. The smaller kids playground, the larger playground and the swings are designed for families in mind. Highly recommend! Next to this park, is also the historic CDA carousel and memorial fields where you can watch outdoor games and play as well. Certainly a day well spent here is well worth it.

Amazing, beautiful park with so much to offer. So much history and natural beauty packed into the heart of Boise, the events are spectacular and the locals are amazing. When I was homeless back in 2017-2019 there was a barbeque that we lovingly called "the bumbeque" that served people in need. The rose garden is amazing when it's in bloom as well, I recall going on a field trip there back in my elementary days and not wanting to leave. The museums are super cool and the zoo is a family favorite. Overall one of my favorite places in Idaho.

The kids had a blast, they offered tons of additional add ons for party decor, I didn’t have to do anything but watch and enjoy! We will definitely be back for regular play and more parties! The owner was super sweet and it was very clean with tons of space for a larger group and a variety of ages!

We have brought our little guy here twice now and we have been extremely pleased both times we’ve been. The owners are the nicest people and really do enjoy being a safe and fun space for kids to come play. It’s awesome to be able to come and watch our child play and explore, all while being able to have constant sight lines. There’s so much to enjoy from the ball pit to the play structure. An added bonus is the seating and snacks available. The only thing I wish they had was diet versions of the sodas they offer, other than that it’s a wonderful place!

Just went to The Little Play Hut today for the first time with my 6 year old daughter. She stayed busy and entertained the whole time we were there and she did not want to leave. They have many fun activities along with imaginative play. What sets this place apart is that adults don’t have to pay to enter and there are many tables and areas for the adults to sit and watch their kids or even work. My daughter is pretty independent when it comes to imaginative play and wants to make friends with other kids over me playing with her, so this was the best set up for us. They also have coffee and tea and sodas for sale, along with baked goods. I plan to bring my 8 year old son next time as they have things for older kids including a Lego table, which he will love. It is clean and a very comfortable environment.

Truly an amazing park with all the added activity areas. Meridian is the place to be for outdoor activities for kids and families. My only gripe and this isn't the park's fault but I do wish that people would keep their large dogs to the large dog area. As a small dog owner I would really appreciate that. Thank you!

Amazing park for kids of all ages. Playground accommodates toddlers to big kids and there is a lot to do. My kids (4&5 y.o) especially love the sandbox in the back of the playground and can spend quite some time playing there. The park has recently expanded and added a skate park, a dirt park for bikes. My kids love both of those as well. Definitely a great place to take the kiddos. Bathrooms are nice and clean.

Discovery Park has become one of our favorite spots, and we go there all the time! The park has so much to offer for everyone in the family, from wide open spaces for picnics and games to playgrounds that the kids absolutely love. It’s beautifully maintained, and there’s always a spot to relax, explore, or just enjoy the outdoors. We’re grateful to have such a great community space nearby and look forward to each visit!

This park has so much to offer. There is a skate park, five baseball fields, a bike park (dirt and paved), a playground, splash pad, pickleball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, sandbox, bocce ball and so much more. Two dog parks, one for small dogs and big dogs with watering stations. Two large buildings with restrooms, plus drinking stations near every activity section. Trash containers all over the to put trash. The only negative comment would be there is not a lot of shade. There is shade under the gazebos but other than that there is no shade there so I would bring a pop-up tent.

Wow - huge, well done play structure with a sprint race track for kids, wall climbs, cool Zipline thing, and more. Dirt jump park was basic but very nice for what it was. Pump track was paved nice and smooth and the skate park was packed but fun. Super-cool pay area for all.

One of my favorite parks ever. I walked this part daily with my dog for the last 15 and 20 years. Great Park, well kept by the maintenance crew. They have a huge playland for kids, +2 other smaller play lands throughout the park. Three or four big shelter areas for large events, Beautiful tennis courts that were just redone this summer. Beautiful place to walk with tons of trees, the fall colors are beautiful in this park. There's a fun land where they have three or four amusement park type rides for kids. I believe that's only open in the summer. It has a creek running through it, a hockey rink in the winter. And one of the best things, the zoo is located in the park. Such an incredible zoo for such a small town. The Idaho Falls parks and Rex does wonders with this park.

We visited this great little zoo last week with the grandkids! It is the first visit of many, this summer. This zoo is involved in the captive breeding program, and the kids love seeing where the "babies" go. It's the perfect size for a couple hours or a longer stay. I especially like the fact that all the animals are ones that you wouldn't see locally in the wild. Definitely worth the time!

I loved that it was an open area so the noise was more dispersed than it would have been in a closed party room. Austin was the person assigned to our group and he was very kind and accommodating! The whole experience was great and 3 of our guests told me they are going to have their parties there in the future! Thank you so much for everything!

Such a fun park and I would give it 5 stars but I have a “runner”. There is no fence enclosing the playground or the incredible splash pad. And everything is pretty spread out, lots of blind spots. There are swings, slides, lots of things to climb up and an awesome splash pad. If you have more than two little kids, I suggest bringing another adult to help you wrangle them. It’s a very busy park and MANY ways to escape. Theres also a pond where you can feed the ducks or fish. Large open area for sports like soccer or football. There’s also a basketball court. Bathrooms too.

My little boy is autistic and this was a great park for him. It had a lot of sensory touchy feely items and music toys for him to interact with. Multiple ways for kids to climb the equipment and various size play rocks to climb on. They have several types of swings including regular, bucket swings and ones for kids with special needs. This is a huge park and has a fun splash pad for the kids that is themed like a pirate ship.

Great little neighborhood park. So glad they put new mulch down. I wish it were rubber mulch, similar to the smaller park between Chastain and World Cup, on Striker. I wish there were more shade options, maybe more trees around the entire circumference of the park. The kids get hammered by the sun, especially while on the swings. If the HOA could invest in some fabric sun shades over the swing set, it would make a huge difference. It's great to have such nice tennis courts and a soccer field, along with the community pool adjacent to the park. But I wish there was a basketball court, as well. I think they're changing one of the tennis courts into a pickleball court. Unfortunately, it looks like there's some residents against adding basketball courts. Oh, well. I recently found out you can't use the bathrooms by the pool unless you have your key card. So be sure to carry your key card if you (or your kids) need a potty break while at the park.
