Stopped here to play on our way across the country. Lovely park. So much nice green shaded open space. Always a fan of a Leathers & Assoc. play structure. This one has been wonderfully maintained with all the usual goodies and quirks. Wonderful view over the lake too! Parking was a nightmare.

Awesome playground, close to the lake and carousel. Easily entertained our kids from 1.5-4years old and don't expect it to taper off anytime soon!

Amazing park for the whole family! Great location to the CDA resort, McEwen park, downtown shops and stores, and lake Coeur d'Alene and the lake beach. Fort Sherman has an amazing playground that both children and adults can enjoy together. Whether you want to ride your bike around the park and beach, walk your dog through the grass and large trees surrounding the lake, or playing tag in the wood built playground, you can certainly spend hours playing here. The smaller kids playground, the larger playground and the swings are designed for families in mind. Highly recommend! Next to this park, is also the historic CDA carousel and memorial fields where you can watch outdoor games and play as well. Certainly a day well spent here is well worth it.

This is a great playground. One great feature is there are only two entrances/exits, so if you are there with little kids they can't escape your field of vision. I also love that the trees are big and provide lots of shade
