Perfect park! It has a soccer field, walking trails, covered eating areas, clean restrooms (ladies can ya feel it?!) and a water park. You can also walk down to the river and let the dogs swim! This is one of the best parks and deserves a 10+.

I really love going to this park. This is one of the prettiest parks around for miles. It has a big level and nicely cut field. There are numerous soccer Goals out in the field. The park has a very nice Splash Water pad that you can cool off in, after you go for a nice long walk around the park. It's a great way to cool off in the hot summer time. When you go on a walk here at the par, you will enjoy That this park has a blacktop pathway about 6 feet wide. One lap around the park, is equivalent to 1/2 Mile. If you go in the evening, about one third of the walkway is shaded, which is very nice. When you get done with your walk, you can walk down one of the trails and there is a very pretty river, that you can visit. The river goes around the outer edge of the park. On the other side of the park is a high bluff that wraps around the park, and hugs against the river bank.

On a road trip with kids, looking for a free place to stop along the route and found this hidden gem. The playground was perfect for my small kids. Didn't use the splash pad, but kids were out having fun in it. Lots of grassy play space too. I will say, not many shade options for a hot day...But that wasn't a necessity for us.

The park itself is great. Clean and nice. Only downfall is when they updated the splash pad they removed the bench seating for the adults or whomever to sit on

This is an excellent park, the splash pad in particular is a favorite of my son during the hot summer months. The pad is in great condition. The playground equipment is in good shape and there is plenty of room to run and play. If there is a downside it would be a lack of shade from trees.
