We love Charlie Daniels. The equipment is always in great shape and we love that there’s something for everyone. There a small section set off just for toddlers so they don’t get run over by the bigger kids. There’s a large section for bigger kids with lots of slides and things to climb. There are tennis courts, pickleball courts, and basketball courts to get in some exercise with friends. Plus picnic tables that are shaded with large umbrellas in the summer and a seasonal splash pad. There’s also a walking trail that connects to miles and miles of shaded greenway. It’s great for walking for biking, as the pavement is wide and has lots of boardwalk areas with a lovely view of the creek and the local fauna. The community gets involved in this park, decorating trees around the holidays.

We visited for the Love our City concert on Friday October 11 - we got there early for the opening concert as we didn't know what to expect. Lots of space, filled up closer to the headliner, food trucks, and nearby parking. It was a fun evening and we will watch for future events
