Great park with several different areas for different age groups. With a castle theme. The ground is covered in a soft fake grass sponge like material, so if and when your little ones fall, they won't get hurt like they do on blacktop, gravel, or woodchips. Nice pavilion area for picnics and cookouts. There is a permanent cornhole area that has 6 stations (i believe) next to the playground. There's walking trails too that connect to the Portage bike and hike trail.

Good playground, they're always tweaking things trying to make it better. Clean, well kept and they've added corn hole boards and a trail next to the playground.

Very cool little park. Especially if you are a local looking for a good park to take the little ones. Much of the entire playground is a miniature castle. There are ways to climb up around the whole thing, there are swings, slides, wacky mirrors, sandbox, little nooks and crannies to climb into under, around, through and on. Very reminiscent of the old Stow wooden playground that got torn down years ago. There is even a miniature down town Ravenna replica area and fake boat for the kids to explore. Other than that, there is a covered pavilion with several picnic tables. Fully functional restrooms with drinking fountains. More than ample parking between two available parking lots. One of the parking lots is actually parking for the Portage Hike and Bike trail. Considering everything I'm giving this place a 5 star review. The city takes very good care of this place. I highly recommend it.

Nice park with a soft fake grass ground and tons for the kiddos to check out. Swings, slides, a small sandbox that needs more sand, plenty of room to sit, accessible areas for handicap. Could use some cleaning up and as of July 2020 the bathrooms are closed because of Covid-19 I guess?
