This is an amazing playground in an amazing setting. You could spend a whole day in this little corner of Omaha. Summer would be best to use the water features. This park has different climbing structures that seem geared for older children suck as 9 to 13. Had a sand pit with many tools for preschoolers, a variety of swings for the child at heart to sit and watch their children discover. Has a music making area for all ages. This playground has one entrance to allow for greater safety and freedom for kiddos. Appears to have bathroom facilities but I didn't take a close look. Plenty of parking.

Discovery Playground at Lewis & Clark Landing is an absolute treasure for families. It offers an impressive mix of interactive experiences that cater to children of all ages and abilities. The playground’s vibrant, modern design includes inclusive play features, ensuring a welcoming environment. One of the standout features is the zipline, perfect for older kids looking for adventure. It adds an exciting thrill to the playground, giving older children something to enjoy while younger ones explore the imaginative play structures. Another highlight is the interactive water trail, where kids can engage with hand-cranked energy sources, choose different paths, and manipulate dams, learning about water flow and energy in a fun, hands-on way. For those who love to climb, the playground boasts climbing net tubes with slides, adding a vertical element of fun and exploration. Small natural climbing areas also allow kids to challenge themselves in a safe, engaging environment. Located along the scenic Missouri River, Discovery Playground is equipped with covered picnic tables and many restroom facilities, ensuring families can spend hours enjoying the space comfortably. Its blend of adventurous and educational play elements makes it a must-visit for families in the Omaha area or those passing through.

Wonderful expansive waterfront playground for kids of all ages, especially older kids (5+). We came just before dusk on a July weeknight and it wasn't too crowded. Tons of climbing features, plus slides, zip lines, water features, sand, and spinners. Our kids (7 & 9) didn't want to leave, and neither did we. No splash pad. Great bathrooms on site, and free parking. Some spots for caregivers to sit. One of the best playgrounds we've ever been to!

Came down for a quick weekend vacation and stumbled upon this park. This was by far the best park we've been to in many years. Some serious fun climbing activites for my 12 and 14 year old. Even us old parents had some fun. Wish we had something like this in MN!
