I watched the 4th of July fireworks at this park, and the whole event was just incredible. They were so beautiful and coordinated perfectly. The park is very nice, clean, there were a ton of people. Had a great time! Zoom in on the photos. Maybe it's just me, but they're gorgeous!

Castlerock is a nice, large park. Large open area. But it really does not have much diversity. It has a splash pool area, 4 tennis courts, and not much more. Pickleball enthusiasts often use the tennis courts, even though Parks does nothing to support Pickleball.

One of the largest and nicest parks in Billings for doing virtually any outdoor activity. There is plenty of wide open space, suitable for things like football, soccer or even Ultimate Frisbee or just for tossing one around. There is also a baseball diamond and apparently tennis courts,. One of the best features is the FREE water feature. Located on the north side of the park off Wicks Ln. Another nice thing about this park is the free roaming deer and antelope that can often be seen there. This is also where the big 4th of July celebration is held each year, though I hear that's going to change next year, but could not confirm that. At any rate, this is a great park to take the kids to on a hot day and let them play in the water park,. There is also a decent restroom-changing room there as well as a paved parking lot. If you live in the Heights, or don't mind the drive, Castle Rock Park is a great local spot for outdoor activities in a nice, tranquil setting.
