Good playground, seems very new. Fenced in with gates. Play structures for big and little. The zip line is very popular. Playground has a little more height than others, which is nice. Splash pad is cute, a couple of above-head things and some jets from under. Also, well gated. There are benches all aroma be, covered and uncovered. Some shade from the trees. Bathroom is a portapotty. Parking is tricky, there is no lot. It's along the roads surrounding the area. Sometimes both sides of the street, which makes it a little narrow. Overall, fun times.

This was the best children's playground I have ever been to. I took my 14-month-old toddler and found a playground that was nicely subdivided into a toddler area, a young child area and then a grade school age area. The playground equipment was safe and very creative. And I really appreciated the cushioned ground for safety. We spent about an hour there. Just having a good time going from one toddler activity to another.

Fun, large, clean park! Two playgrounds for toddlers and older kids. Plenty of room for many children to play. Large splash pad with fountains and overhead buckets. Shaded areas with picnic tables. No parking lot but plenty of street parking, we've never had to walk more than 3 mins. We drive here from Natick and it's totally worth it!

It was one of the finest parks my daughter has been to. Awesome playground with a castle theme. Have many basketball vpurts to play on as well as a small track around them to run. They do have public restrooms that seem to he kept up to date with cleaning. The only thing is they need more trash barrels, and many trash is left behind sadly, especially plastic water bottles.

This playground brings back the old-school amazing wood castle playgrounds mixed with some updated things. So many places to climb or crawl under. There's a smaller area for little kids as well. Lots of swings as well. There's also a nice walking path right there where you can also have kids ride their bikes or scooters. Basketball court and giant field. The ONLY reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the fact that the parking lot is miniscule. With how many people love the playground and so much to do there, there should be a bigger lot.

What an amazing view of the Boston skyline! From one spot, you can see the customs house clock, Zakim Bridge, and the masts of the USS Constitution. Park is very open, clean, and green. Very rarely crowded. Dogs are welcome, and have plenty of room to roam freely! And, it's right near the water. Fantastic place to visit.

One of the most beautiful park in East Boston. The city staff is doing a great job maintaining the park. We loved how large this park is and how much stuff the kids had to go play on. I didn't see picnic tables or bathrooms. Also, there is no view of water like it shows on Google. You have about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to get to lake. There was live music though and that was really nice. There is also 2 basket ball courts and a tennis court. Handicapped parking is not very visible but is available

A bit dated but nice playground and surrounding areas. There were tennis courts, a baseball diamond, basketball court, some field space, and walking trails. Definitely looked like it needed some updating/cleaning. The bathrooms were not opened but looked like they were from the 1980's. Fun park overall. They did look like they were beginning to upgrade old picnic tables so hopefully they will gradually get to the rest of the property as well.

The drought has dried up a lot of the grass, but it's still a beautiful spot, and there's plenty of wildlife if you walk down to the water's edge. The play structure is new and shiny and in perfect condition. The DCR employees are doing a great job keeping it clean. It's a peaceful little oasis right there in the heart of the city!

A playground with the view of Charles River can never go wrong. Plus, the play structures are versatile and accommodating kids at different ages. It includes a giant climbing structure with a slide, a big rock with boulder/climbing options, marry go around, a wooden climbing structure, and a zip line! Also well maintained. This is really a neat place to stop by.

Fun playground. Nice view of Boston. Community garden. Across the street from a school. There’s a big field to play soccer. Plenty of picnic tables. Shade for grown-ups. Sandbox, a paved part to scoot on for smaller kids. A porta potty. The big slides are out of service at the moment (April 2023)- We hope they get fixed soon. My kids like rolling down the hill.

Wood chips, sand pit. Not fenced. 2 huge plastic slides. 5 baby swings, 6 regular swings. 1 special needs swing. Awesome wooden climbable house. Gymnastics bars for taller kids. Many picnic tables and benches. Big grass field / hill, surrounded by trees. Playground structures for younger and older kids. Across the street from elementary school, so very busy when school gets outb(230p?) Trees on periphery but overall not very shaded. Street parking right along park. No meters or permit required (I think)

My children just love it when I bring them here. We go when we are local it is their favorite park sometimes I will just surprise them with it if I wasn't even planning on being local. That's how much they love it. They don't have any water activity here. The climbing structure is why they love it so much. It is also clean every time we go this is also important.

Outstandingly good playground with bigger and better features than most others of its kind. The usual swings and gentler attractions for toddlers but the star attractions of this place are its mega fun climbing structure and long slide which is partially tunnelled for safety purposes. Also on site are ball game facilities for older children and teenagers. Lots of seats throughout, much needed to accommodate the many families who socialise here, especially during the warm glorious days of summer !

This is a great park with plenty of activities for all age groups! They have play structures for the wee littlest ones, toddlers and expert climbers. Swings for all ages including a double for child and parent. However I don't see a seatbelt on the seated swing which is not handicap appropriate. Best of all is fully fenced around the play structures. They have a basketball court and a work out area.
