A lovely park just outside the French Quarter with everything a city park should have: sports fields, pavilions, Storyland, sculpture park, etc. Glad we took the time to check this out. We only explored a very small section of the park and we were very pleasantly surprised! Nice to walk off some of those beignets calories!

Actually one of my favorite places from my trip to NoLa. You see everything beautiful in the biome: the romantic Spanish moss, the water, the birds. Lots of little spots to sit and watch. There's a sculpture garden, cafe, miniature train, all sorts of delights running through the park.

The Sculpture Garden at New Orleans City Park was a highlight of our visit to the city. Besides the more traditional pieces, they have some really fun and contemporary works-all of which are thoughtfully placed within the beautifully landscaped gardens. It’s definitely worth your time, and it’s free! (Be sure to cross under the bridge to explore both areas of the garden.)
