This playground is amazing! Probably the best I've ever been to. The fenced in area is huge with lots of different zones for different activities and age groups. There are plants and landscaping throughout, making it feel totally different than a wide open span of concrete and rubber, like most playgrounds. Whoever designed this place should win an award!

Such a good park. A lot of seating, and shade. Expect your child to move all about the park and you following behind. Many times there is an Ice cream truck nearby. Overall, it's worth it to go, with many play areas.

This playground was amazing! Stopped in while in the area with my almost 3 year old. So many things to keep him entertained, but he loved the sand the most. We spent a few hours here. Definitely recommend for kids

This is the best free playground that we have ever been to. It has a zip line, multiple slides, seesaws, climbing walls, towers and so much more. There is even a special section for toddlers and a swing for handicapped children. The entire playground is covered by a soft robbery material that would help cushion a fall if someone tripped. There are clean bathrooms nearby as well as water fountains. For parents, there are benches everywhere though out the area. This is a wonderful asset to this community!

A nice clean playground with a castle for kids to climb on. Swings, slide, and a closed-in place for your kids to play. There are plenty of benches for parents to sit down on to watch their kids play. The area park was clean and safe with plenty of parental supervision. A nice place to let the kids unwind after you pick them up after school.

We were recommended this park from another family staying at our hotel. Easy walk from seaside inn. We had a great time at the park! We took a small walk and found turtles and lots of birds. However, when we returned to the park, there was a homeless man cleaning his belongings at the pavilion and took the single restroom for nearly an hour which was an inconvenience because my 4 year old needed to use the restroom. Other than that the park was very clean and there seemed to be ample parking. We can't wait to visit again!

Best playground we have been to! We were on vacation and needed a place for the kiddos to run around. They would have stayed there all day if we let them! So much for going to all the exciting "tourist attractions" we planned. They had so much fun here. It was all they talked about. Free playground and so many fun activities for them. Make sure to put a lot of sunscreen on them!

If anyone is looking for free toddler entertainment, the Wellen Park playground is definitely worth a try. Pros- Splash pad, playground, food & drink, restrooms within walking distance, beautiful scenery, music and calming environment. Soft turf and some sand in the playground area. Cons- The playground does not offer much shade and unfortunately when it's full sun, the playground is just too hot to play on. The food & drink stands don't open till 11AM (so if you go before then make sure to bring snacks), The playground seems more suited for ages 5 and up, not for younger children. We will definitely be back during the night market!

Nice little playground on turf with 2 swings, tire swing, slide and rope playground. Close to bathrooms. No fence. I wish there was a bit more shade, but the Adirondack chairs were moveable as the sun shifted. Also, this is right next to a nice splash pad so I recommend bringing your Littles. There are swings for infants and a tire swing as well. There's a double swing that has an infant swing attached. There are several open field around the playground. The name fully responds to the place! Family park with zoning for different ages. With a fenced area for kids; detached for toddlers; teenagers; and for all ages sports islands around the park. There is also a picnic court. To book a birthday party or any other event, you must make a reservation in advance by phone. And book swaps are an easy way to find new books and help people feel more connected to their community

I went to this park around 7am on a Monday morning. I did not see any homeless people. I saw lots of birds and bunnies. There are lots of covered picnic tables and paved trails. There are exercise stations strategically placed along the trail. It’s a good place to walk and watch the wildlife. I was very happy to take my morning walk at this park.

We have been to this playground a few times and every time we had a lot of fun! The location of the playground is also wonderful, you get to go to Trader Joe’s or Winter Park Village afterwards and there are so many restaurants and stores nearby. There are also plenty of parking spaces for the playground, we usually arrive around 10am and there are still many spots left. However, it does get busy in the afternoon especially when there’s birthday party on the weekends. To maximize the fun I would suggest to bring food and have a picnic there instead of just stopping by, on our last visit we did a picnic and was able to enjoy 4.5 hours there. There are a few sets of tables with chairs around the playground as well as benches. There is also a bathroom with diaper changing table available! On the other side of the playground there is a big pavilion where you can make reservation for birthday parties and they post the date/time on the notice board. There are also a lot of trash and recycle cans around this playground making it really easy to dispose any garage that you may have from having a picnic there. I also absolutely love the fact that this playground is completely fenced off, you still need to keep an eye on the kids since there are several gates but it is so much easier and safer here than other open playground especially with a lake nearby. The playground itself is made of wood, very sturdy and especially beautiful for pictures. The ground is covered in mulch with a concrete path in front of the parking lot fence gates that connects the pavilion and the bathroom. This playground has slides, swings (both baby ones and big kids ones), towers and a lot of hideouts. It is great for younger kids playing with friends or making instant new friends (suggested age is 2-12). One of the most important thing is that this playground is almost completely shaded since it has a lot of big trees. This is definitely a huge blessing especially in Florida’s hot weather. Overall we love this playground and would be making a lot of future visits soon.

Cute playground castle. We've been twice this month (live about an hr away) for other activities. It has swings behind it and is gated, including bathrooms. When I went, the 2 cons were that there was no tp and people don't close the gates, which defeats the point, IMO. Besides that, they also have a little book donation, and a lot of people bring food to eat under the pavilion and little personal picnic tables.

Nice park and the kids love it. They need more trash cans and the bathrooms definitely need an upgrade that includes better lighting.
