A lovely little park that re-birthed itself into a phoenix... 🐦🔥rising from the ashes of the demolition of West Campus 🏗️🗑️ This is such a great park for how little space it takes up. I’ve met people here who turned friends-for-life & have made some very fond memories here 😏 Great place for kids, a run / walk, or just to relax after class 📚 There’s always atleast one cop stationed here & my guess is the close proximity of college kids to older families who like to dial those 3 special numbers 🚨🚔

Nice park. Lots of climbing opportunities. Nets, hammock, etc…9 large adult sized park tables and benches along with 2 kid size park bench and tables. No swings. Some musical toys, a spinning seat, water fountain, and more.

Maybe scary for parents watching children climb a 30ft rope course but the 5 and 7 year olds absolutely love this place. We frequent several in the area and the girls put this on top of the list. Several rope courses and slides, picnic areas and resting spots for parents. Although a bit frightening for me, girls give 5 stars.

Great park off the beaten path. Builds strength, coordination, balance, agility and spatial awareness. Perhaps the most unique feature of the site are the two play areas for kids, which are unlike any other playground in the area. The main play area is shaped like a leaf, and the rubber surface is adorned with drawings of insects. The focal point is a nearly 24-foot-tall tunnel slide – more than twice the height of typical slides – that kids can access by climbing up a challenging series of ropes. There are also more typical slides for younger kids, as well as picnic tables, a spinner bowl and other equipment. There is also a natural play area. Surrounding a tree is a large spider web net for kids to climb or lounge on. The area also features a rope agility course.

This will always be a sentimental park because I lived here when it was UD’s Rodney residence hall. I am so happy that the city created a beautiful park, especially now that I have children to enjoy it (almost full circle). You can tell they took their time in creating the park, because the equipment and soft padding is so uniquely intricate. I’m very impressed.
