We love this park. The hiking trails are beautiful, minimum difficulty. Bring the kids! The playground is a great source of entertainment. The people who works there are really nice and kinda of operate in the background. Well managed, clean, one of the best State Parks we've been to.

The park features excellent facilities for camping, picnicking, and fishing, making it a perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts. The scenic beauty and tranquil atmosphere make it a great destination for a relaxing day or weekend getaway. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I ❤️ it!!!! Why did the squirrel bring a suitcase to Turtle River State Park? Because it heard the park was "nuts" about visitors!☺️

Turtle River is a beautiful park with a lot to offer. The trails are varied and offer gorgeous views of the prairies, woods, river, ravine, and the signs of changing seasons. The campsites are in the middle of most of the trails and always appear clean and well-kept. The visitor center has a lot of info about the park and monthly events it hosts. There's even a few geocaches to find throughout the park! Im looking forward to the cross-country skiing trails that will open in winter.

We head to TRSP each summer for our family reunion. The cabins and main lodge are perfect for our group of nine families. The cabins are clean and close to one another, the trails are great, and the lodge and kitchen have worked well.

This is a nice state park with lots of hiking trails. The campground has plenty of room between sites so it doesn’t feel super crowded. And the campground bathroom is probably the nicest campground bathroom I’ve ever been in (and that’s a lot) clean, nice showers, hot water & good pressure. There is however a lot of poison ivy everywhere (trails, campsites, etc) I’d be careful of kids running loose
