A good place to visit. The towers are well maintained. Wide open space. A good place to have lots of walking. It would be a great place for families to explore together.

Nice trails to hike or bike. Map system could use a little updating, I thought I took an entirely different trail than I was on at one point but it all worked out (maybe a user error but I've hiked plenty of trails and haven't misidentified trails before). I recommend getting a state park pass for $35 for the year, rather than doing a day pass for $7.

Very interesting, great history, well worth visiting. General Custer's was the Commanding Officer here. Custer and his troops left the Fort on 17 May 1876, travelling over 400 miles to the Little Bighorn where they all perished in the battle.

Visited yesterday afternoon. This is indeed a beautifully maintained Park with lots of walking, hiking, cycling and equestrian trails. Also met the Ranger and had a conversation with him. Park is a short drive from Bismarck and shouldn’t be missed.

Love the ability to actually go into and up the towers. Great views and plenty to read and discover. Very open and enjoyable. Bring the kids and read about the area and the fort.
