Gilbert Regional Park was a really surprising (in a good way) experience. First of all, it is a beautiful park. I was early for my dentist appointment in the area, so I decided to drop by to pass the time. I walked around and realized just how big this park is. In the developed area, there is a lake and a large lawn for playing with kids, dogs, or whatever, as well as a number of paved walking paths. There is a beautiful amphitheater near the lake which would be a great location to see an event. Also, there are a large number of pickleball courts, and if I played standup pingpong I would definitely use them. However, the playground equipment is next level. There are slides and a zip line-like thing on rails, all of which makes me jealous that I didn’t have these when I was a kid. There is also a large undeveloped area if you are looking for a longer run. I will definitely be stopping there again!

We love this park! It tends to get incredibly busy during the day and evening with good weather. It’s always been clean and I have seen many employees cleaning and checking trashes. We came to the playground early on a Friday morning and luckily missed the huge crowds. We love the accessibility and bathrooms.

Gilbert Regional Park is a great place to visit, especially if you have kids. Well-kept and engaging play areas, and if they like water, a fun interactive water park to have a blast in. The wildlife here is beautiful, and the desert greenery and flora are tastefully presented. Will definitely visit again.

The park is fun for the kids and have many options for sports . But it needs attention to the lake. So much died fishes and the water looks so dirty.
