Stopped here to wait due to a delayed flight. Such a great resource to the community. Felt like a little oasis in the desert. Lots of green space with trees, and several species of birds. Plenty of benches. While the park has a decent crowd it had several spaces to sit and relax. The sports plex offered several court sports and looks like there is a lot to enjoy. For the most part park was clean tho some bathrooms were a little less than attended to during what seemed to be a peak time. Our family with teens stayed for a couple hours and never felt bored.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this park. I never knew this gem of a park was in the City of Phoenix nor that it was so close to me. It’s a rather large park with so much to do. The lake/pond with ducks is an added bonus. Then there’s the backdrop of midtown in background.

We had so much fun on the paddle boats and having a family picnic. We even saw a Heron. Walking around the park and bridges was lovely. December picnics are a Phoenix treat.

After discarding my review to make sure I was writing about the right place, here we go again. I took my daughter to the playground and I wasn't impressed. This playground is more meant for 5 years and up. I have a two year old. The merry go round just doesn't make sense. The kids that come here are super mean and pushed my daughter around. The wheel chair accessable swing has a stupid design and kids think they can climb through all the holes and they get stuck. There's two slides. That's super lame to me. There's plenty of things to climb though. Not a lot of steps.

A very quiet and beautiful place. Has lots of possibilities to have fun and has a little amusement park with a carousel and train. Nive lake , a small island and water paddle boats. On the other hand , it has a swimming pool and water activities.
