Great place to take younger kids. They absolutely love it. We take my finances nieces and nephew and some thier friends here often and they absolutely love it. More importantly, it's easy for us adults to navigate around behind the younger children to ensure their safety. Could be a little more seating for adults to just watch, but hey the kids love us being close by!

This playground is a reflection of the community for the kids in this area as well as visitors. It is great that it is available. This park really needs to be maintained better, a lot better. There also needs not be fertilizer sprayed while children are on the playground! It burns eyes and throat and isn’t healthy. As much as paid on property tax and price gouged on electric this playground should be kept better.

Like & share our reviews! ^^ PLEASE NOTE: The park is closed every Wed am until 12pm.This park is one of my all-time favs as a mom because 1. It is all wheelchair friendly & accessible 2. It is the most safest built playground I have ever been to 3. It is shaded 4. It is clean 5. It is never ever over crowded . It is often referred to as 'Smiley Park' because at the entrance there is a huge smiley face greeting everyone as they arrive. There are a few benches and tables to picnic at but there is also a really nice grassy knoll to throw a picnic blanket down on and eat. There are 2 water fountains but the water tastes a lil funny. We suggest bringing your own water. There are public restrooms avail and a small play area for the tiny tots and one for the bigger kids too. There are all kinds of creative climbing areas as well as a sand pit with bulldozer type mechanisms. This playground also has a modern canopy to keep the sun from beatin' down on ya. *(The swing sets are not covered). My only wish is that more playgrounds were built as sturdy, safely and wheel chair friendly as this one. Even the climbing stairs on the tiny tot playgrouns has grooved edges foe kids to grab onto as they climb. The park does get locked down at sunset so make sure to get out there an hour or 2 ahead of the sun going down. There is plenty of parking. Nearby fun areas include the local library with pavilion and tables. There is another park across the way called Kiwanis Park. There is also Water World nearby. This area is extremely family friendly. There are also some jogging trails at this location too.
